Exploring the Energetic Body (Free Resource Inside!)

Have you ever heard of the chakras and wondered what the heck they were? Keep reading to learn a little bit more about the chakras, and the powerful impact that these energy centers can have on our wellbeing.

The chakras are the energy centers in our body, and we have 7 main chakras— Root, Sacral, Solar Plexus, Heart, Throat, Third Eye, and Crown. Chakra translates to wheel, or disk, in Sanskrit and each can be visualized as a spinning wheel of energy in the body.

These chakras correspond to biological areas of the body and have can impact our emotional and physical wellbeing. We can open, balance, and align the chakras through yoga, meditation, aromatherapy, and other techniques that draw our focus to the energy centers.

The root chakra begins around the pelvic floor, and the 7 chakras run in a vertical line up the body, reaching the crown chakra at the top of the head.
